Re[collect]

We went through some things together. A group of artists who graduated from Queensland College of Art 10 years ago. In this exhibition we reflect on the past and evaluate how far we’ve come. The mark of time gives us pause and a moment to consider the road we’ve taken to date. Our university experience was life changing and consolidate our intentions and education as artists.

We re[collect] as we gather and reflect on the notes of our student art practice and reconsider how we’ve arrived here. We ruminate on the happenings and occurrences, the strivings, and sufferings from the decade of time – who we are as artists now, an accumulated collection of experiences and practices we’ve gathered for expression today.
